'All-fours'  leg raise - Core strengthening and also a good exercise for lower back
pain in runners
Standing Heel Raise - use this to strengthen your ankles for running on trails and at
the beach.
Hip rolling exercise - use this to strengthen your lateral hip muscles to improve
balance and side-to-side movement
Hamstring stretch - Runners get tight hamstrings but a little bit of stretching goes a
long way.  Take it easy with hamstring stretching.
Standing Lunges - use this to keep your hips flexible and your core muscles strong.
Sitting quadriceps strengthening - use this to get strong quadriceps muscles for
downhill running and knee stabilization.
